I watched three trailers that are current at the moment and discussed both what kind of 'buzz' they generate and why they are to be released in summer.
SNATCHED
The trailer shows a perfect film for the summer as it is about a mother and daughter going on holiday to South America after the daughter is dumped by her boyfriend so she is forced to take her mother. It looks as if it was going to be a relaxing holiday in the sun until the daughter meets a man and gets into trouble with dangerous people.
Although it is about a kidnap the film is a comedy which gives the film a more upbeat sense to it and doesn't make it as serious whereas most films which have kidnappings are serious and intense.
Younger Audience will relate to the scenario of a fun gap year going crazy and living life free whereas the older audiences will laugh at the mother protectiveness such as the suncream and dressing like a 'bee keeper', and also how opposite there are as mother and daughter. However later we find out there much more similar and get closer when kidnapped.

WONDER WOMAN
The Wonder Woman trailer is full of action and attracts the audience with the super hero idea with the outfits and fighting.
It is especially for the female audience as it is one of the first super hero films which has stared a woman and directed by a woman which shows the female empowerment.
THE BEGUILED
The trailer shows a house full of women with an injured soldier getting in-between the women. Once he is better the women start showing affection for him but he doesn't just show affection to just one woman which stirs things up and eventually the women get revenge.
