WHERE ARE TRAILERS SHOWN?

Trailers are shown in cinemas, on TV and online with poster campaigns and radio campaigns also giving wide coverage for new film releases. I mainly see film trailers at the cinema or on iTunes trailers.

I think the most appropriate place to show trailers is at the cinemas before the film because attract the audiences attention to coming back to the cinema and watching more films. Also at the cinema the trailers are relevant to the film genre which the audience will like whereas if the trailers are shown on 

TV the adverts around it are less relevant and the audience don't take much notice of the adverts so they wont notice the trailers either.
